Chik Sze Cheng - Cici is a 5th-year Architectural Engineering student focusing on the Lighting Electrical option. She will graduate in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering. She was originally born and raised in Hong Kong for 15 years. Traveling is always a great adventure to Cici, she loves to explore and decided to continue her academic study in the US. 

 

   Since she was little, she has developed a keen interest in skyscrapers.  As a lighting design student, she utilizes her knowledge in the design process and operates computer applications skillfully. In five years of architectural engineering at Penn State, she not only learned a lot about the engineer’s knowledge but also verbal communication and was good at cooperating with people.

 

   Aside from academic work, she helps Professor Pavlak throughout the class AE 453 as a teacher assistant. She is also the president of the Hong Kong Student Association in the 2020-2021 school year. As a leader of a student association, she leads the executive board members for weekly meetings to discuss events and assigns support works for each position board member.
